Unfortunately, the tour is very asphalt and road-heavy. Ideal for folding bikes and the “heads down” group. It was actually only nice to ride from Breitenheim to Soberheim, when a cycle path led past Jeckenbach and Glan. The first 2/3 were almost exclusively country and district roads, to which a cycle path sign was stapled.

Nearby, many small bridges in the villages, pure nature, two tough climbs, rapid descents, panoramic views, wind, sun, beautiful villages, delicious ☕️ and cake in Meisenheim, decoration shops (a must), Glan, railcar route, barefoot path in Bad Sobernheim....
Parts of the tour are on the road, but there's little traffic. We enjoyed the tour best from Meisenheim onwards.
