April 11, 2022,Wanderung von Sassnitz zur Viktoriasicht
Participated in a march event on Saturday as a helper. Now explored part of the route yourself. From Sassnitz we went to the Viktoriasicht and back. The Jasmund National Park is wonderful and the chalk coast is very impressive. A walk for the soul.

Great hike, it has some short steep climbs but then you are rewarded with great views. We return by bus (line 23, bus stop at the Welterbeforum branch car park).

A stunningly beautiful hike along the steep chalk cliffs with fantastic views of the cliffs towering high above the Baltic Sea. The €12 per person entrance fee to the nature park center at Königsstuhl was too expensive for us. It's a shame they charge so much here. The views beforehand were enough for us; the Victoria View is just a …

The Strawberry Mountain ⛰️🍓 is 133 m high on the southern edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Ancient beech forests and primeval beech forests of the Carpathians and other regions of Europe" and cannot be found on the komoot map. We didn't see him for the trees 🌳🌳🌳 during the hike either 🤷🏻.

The sun is still fighting against the clouds, the sea is calm, the wind has died down.

I've had my eye on the high shore path for a long time. Today is the perfect day for it.

The paths are wet, slippery and heavily rooted. The poles will help. They are annoying when taking photos, but safety comes first.

Beautiful, varied hike. First along the cliffs along the sea. There are endless photo opportunities here. At the Kieler Ufer we took the stairs up to the Gratweg in the direction of the Königsstuhl. Entry costs €12 pp.
The way back led us through the quiet beech forest past ponds and moors which were almost dry due to the long …

We parked in Sassnitz at the Kreidefelsen parking lot, which is subject to a fee. From there, it's 200m to the Welterbeform Abzweig bus stop. From there, bus number 23 runs three to four times an hour for €2.20 to Königsstuhl. There, you can climb the viewing bridge and visit an exhibition for €12, but we didn't do that. Instead, …

The Beech Forest Trail ... due to storms it has been given a new leadership, but has also gained something.
