This new shelter is being built on the spot where there used to be a small seating area (table with bench). It complements the shelters on the bowling cycle path; is of a slightly different design.

View of Arzell and Eiterfeld

Highlight • Viewpoint

Elevated lookout point, which enables this panoramic view. Here are two benches that invite you to take a breather. When the weather is nice, both benches are usually occupied.

Here you can enjoy magnificent views from the Kegelspiel cycle path.

The cycle path uses the route of the former Hünfeld-Wenigentaft railway line. Therefore, there are only slight inclines and you can cycle relaxed through the beautiful landscape of the Kuppenrhön.

A view from Burghauns Osten, to the core place in the west, may of course not be missing on this round.

View of Burghaun

Highlight • Viewpoint

To see Burghaun from the hill - for me it has something. But no matter where you stand, you only ever see part of Burghaun, never the whole village.

Stop at the Keidel beekeeping farm shop, on the cycle path near Eiterfeld .....

Today we rode the bowling bike path to Rasdorf. After lunch in Fraco's chic beer garden, we drove back the same way.

The bowling bike path from Hünfeld was on the program today.

You can start in Hünfeld at the bowling car park in Wellastraße. Here is the beginning of the BahntrassenRadweg, which was built from 2005 for €5.5 million. The cycle path was opened on April 27th, 2007 and was largely built on the old route of the branch line between …

@ Wander snail: I met the vadder of your little green one. Unfortunately didn't have much time to chat because he has to do all the work by himself. His "little one" preferred to go hiking in the north. Finally he chugged:
"Just let him come home...." :-)

Today I met Alberto. We drove a few miles together.

Today we went to the Hessische Kuppenrhön, also known as the Hessisches Kegelspiel. Again on very good paths, mostly the Kegelspielradweg, which are very easy to ride.
From Rasdorf to Großentaft drove on the road. We only met three cars. The official bike path leads partly over poor dirt roads.

Today a very nice tour with good friends on the bowling bike path. In order not to just drive back and forth, we made a loop through Rasdorf. To get from Rasdorf to Grossentaft, we stayed on the road. The bike path is a little different. But the paths are not special.

Showing Translation

Today I did my home tour again. On the skittles bike path we went to Wenigentaft in Thuringia and to Grüsselbach, which belongs to the greater community of Rasdorf.
