Steiwald, yes....I've always wanted to go there. Somehow something always came up or it just didn't fit. But this time the time had finally come...Fabi gave me a suitable route.
After a few meters I also knew where the forest got its name from.....just awesome here.
I come here often......no question.

The trail from the Oberpfalzturm to Fichtelnaab is only blocked at the top. The rest goes, albeit with counter-increases.
Before Pfaben I somehow couldn't find the trail in the leaves and at km 23.5 there was no way through felled trees. The bike had to be carried a little through the dark forest.
