The route is asphalted, there are a lot of cyclists and on the first section from Lübbenau there is occasional car traffic... In stretches it's just straight ahead, so there's not really much variety for the eye.

In the most beautiful sunshine we went through the Spreewald from Lübbenau to Lübben, always along the Spree. A nice, manageable route.

I can only recommend the hike to a limited extent. The problem is that the trail is both a bike path and a sidewalk. There are several rest areas along the way. And at the beginning of the route there is an "official" swimming area. It sure is nice in the summer.
