Storm Ashley has been a bit of a non-event in the north west Lakes. The River Cocker has risen only 20cm since yesterday, much less than for the several storms during the summer where it rose over 1m.
After the three hours of rain, we've had sunshine and lots of wind blowing more leaves off the trees.
