A nice idea for a day trip in the Stuttgart region: take the train to Nürtingen, rent a RegioRad (via app) at the train station and cycle along the Neckar Valley cycle path via Plochingen to Esslingen. Return the bike to Esslingen train station and stroll through the beautiful old town of Esslingen!
