Zollverein Shaft 3/7/10 Headframe

Zeche Zollverein shaft 3/7/10 is a pit in Essen-Katernberg in the eastern part of the pit field of the Zeche Zollverein. Extraction above shaft 3 began in 1882. Shaft 7 followed in 1897 and shaft 10 in 1911. The strut frame, type Promnitz 2, supports a cable pulley platform at a height of 33 metres. The hoist and converter building, which is still preserved today, was built in two sections in 1913 and 1920.
Today the citizens and crafts park Zollverein 3/7/10 is located here. The Phenomania Field of Experience project is located in the premises. The facility is part of the Industrial Heritage Route – Rhenish Mining Route.
