The route of this tour is based on paths that were maintained until "Lothar". Therefore, some sections are quite overgrown. At one point we even had to turn back because the path was completely overgrown with small fir trees and the terrain was too steep to bypass. Since the rain was still a long way off, we quickly went to Schenkenzell to walk up the Teissenkopf tower. We had actually planned to do 10km, but the tour was shortened due to the rain.

So unfortunately it was quite a lot of road work and not my favorite, I like last year's tour better...

Today we hiked to the Teisenkopf. Really great forest paths and the little tower is really cute. Well preserved and well looked after. Nice tour that wasn't too strenuous. Unfortunately, Komoot kept failing me 🤨 we walked the tour for about 4 km in 2.5 hours and it was about 7 km long.
