Day 5 on the trail. Time flies and we have only managed 45 km. But we already have 5,000 meters of elevation gain in our legs. Today we again have to overcome difficult terrain and some climbing sections. The descent was relatively easy compared to the previous days.

Easier day and quicker progress. Thank God!
Stopped at Castel Vergio and camped there. Also connected to a road. You know what that means... dinner in the restaurant! We were carrying cash for the whole hike, and things were more expensive than we'd expected - so whenever we had the chance to use our card we'd splash!
