Just in time for the start of spring, I took my first ten swims in the beautiful Strehlesee near Prenden. In the background, near the small bridge over the Strehle River, the rooty and winding path offers magical views. The atmosphere is magnificent there, as it is on the entire sunny side of the lake.

So, after chasing my Birgit over hill and dale in the completely wrong place (Ützdorf towards Obersee) last Wednesday, I was finally able to show her "my" fairytale forest today on the way back from Templin!

If you read the information signs carefully, you'll notice a decline in water supply here as well. Climate change seems real.
