March 24, 2024,Bei trüben Wetter 🌧️🌦️ durch die Märkische Schweiz
Today we went on a generous tour through Märkische Schweiz in rather modest weather 🌧️🌦️. But thanks to rainproof clothing ☂️, it's no problem. Past the Schermützelsee and many other large and small bodies of water 🏞️ the route took us mostly over beautiful single trails and hiking trails. The heavy winter brought new life to streams, rivers, ponds and …

Two years ago, I did a similar tour around Buckow. I really enjoyed this version, too. A very beautiful hilly landscape, first over lush meadows and later through forests. There are also a few lakes, with, in the second section, great views over them. So, a successful hike :-)

A wonderful tour through Märkische Schweiz.

Especially recommended: the Panorama Trail and the Sophienfließ (Bieber's Paradise!).

I don't know if it's the spring fever, but I call this hiking route the best in Brandenburg in the category "serious hiking (> 15km) with a focus on nature"!

The route offers lakes, forests, valleys, swamps, altitude gain and plenty of places to rest.
