The Berlin–Wriezen railway line, also known as the Wriezen Railway, is a branch line in Berlin and Brandenburg that opened in 1898. It runs from Berlin-Lichtenberg station (until 1938: Lichtenberg-Friedrichsfelde) via Ahrensfelde, Werneuchen and Tiefensee northeast to Wriezen in the Oderbruch.
In 1998, the line from Werneuchen to Wriezen was closed. Reactivation is now being discussed.

Today we went from Tiefensee along the Mittelsee and the Haussee towards Leuenburg and back on the other side.
It's always a lovely quiet round.
The view from the campsite over the Gamensee and the Mittelsee is particularly beautiful. Here is the great painter's view.
