The Castillo de San Miguel is a former fortress of Garachico and is located directly above the natural pools of El Caletón. It was built in 1575 and destroyed by a devastating fire in 1697, after which the fortress was rebuilt.

We actually wanted to go to Punta de Teno, but access has been closed to hikers and bikers for two weeks. Reason unknown. Then we head north towards Garachico.
