Bosco Taxodi (or Parco dei Tassodi) in Paratico is a charming protected natural oasis located on the Brescia side of Lake Iseo, famous for its ancient trees with roots immersed in the water.
🌿 Park Features
Untouched nature: it hosts bald cypresses (Taxodium distichum), aquatic trees with characteristic aerial roots that emerge from the ground.
Wooden walkway: an elevated pedestrian path allows you to walk in complete safety over the wetland and the submerged forest.
Short walk: the entire circular route is easily completed on foot in about 30 minutes.
Local fauna: the area is an ideal observation point for birdwatching and for spotting rare bird species.
