Cala de l'Estany Podrit

The cove of Estany Podrit is a shelter of fine sand and rocks, located on the path of the GR 92 route integrated into the ring road. It is easily reached by an unpaved road and, although it does not have a car park as such, it is possible to get there by car if you leave it at the end of the road.
Sheltered by its pine and scrub area, the cove stretches for 60 meters in length and is 15 meters wide. It has a low occupancy rate, which, together with its natural environment, gives it an attractive virgin appearance. Moderate waves can be easily reached without a steep slope. It does not have services, except showers.

The waters of this cove are attractive to fishermen. The most common species is the crab, both the so-called hermit and the green, which can be easily caught with a hook. The Ametlla de Mar marina is also nearby for sailing enthusiasts.
