Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is accessible with public transport.

The Blavet Gorge and its magnificent view

Highlight (Segment) • Other

Very beautiful and quite quiet little road....at least in the "off tourist season"

The hinterland is partly nice and quiet with nice places and small serpentine roads. It's worth turning around there.

Fountain at the Entrance of Mons

Highlight • Monument

One of the many beautiful mountain villages that nestle with contempt for the dead on the slopes. A short stopover is worthwhile. Mons is not quite so overrun by tourists, such as Gourdon or St. Paul de Vance.

Today we penetrate deeper into the Provençal Alps. With the Col de Bel-Homme we cross into the lonely, barren landscape of a military area, and at the Col de Valferrie we then also exceed the 1100 meter mark. A long descent via Mons takes us back south again. As far as the official description of the tour.
