Varied hike!!!
Started in and with rain, in good spirits, cheerful and curious.
The trail meandered through the forest, it smelled soooo good. Soft ground pleased my feet.
First stop (of course for an espresso!!!) was in Monteleone Sabino. People were going to mass, a small orchestra played. Being a part of it (as an observer) gave this day a …

Well — if nothing else, this day isn’t boring. Right from the start, I counted six solid climbs and descents ahead. Each ascent had its own character — some steeper, some longer — but all of them wore me out. Maybe it’s the accumulated fatigue, but even the gorgeous views couldn’t lift my mood much today.
