Gondola Pond in Braunlage Spa Park

The health resort Braunlage has a very nice spa park. This park, which is not dissimilar to a large landscaped garden, is located in the east of the city. In the summer months, the spa guests could ride on it with rowing boats and in winter was ice skating on the frozen waters and played ice hockey. In 1950, a foyer for 800 people was built on the west side of the park. This building was replaced in 1976 by today's, more modern and larger Kurgastzentrum with a total of 2,300 m² floor space. In this is u.a. a concert hall holding about 1000 people.
