For best results, catch it at Golden Hour!

Nailsea to Long Ashton Cycle Path

Highlight • Viewpoint

Probably the best way to get back toward the city from Backwell, super smooth and off the beaten track away from cars! Good sunset views over the trainline in the evening also!

Belmont Hill

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

Good surface and therefore I prefer descending this hill and going up Wraxall hill. It has a couple of turns, but can be taken at speed. Would be good for doing loops Belmont to Wraxall

Failand

Highlight • Settlement

Okay, it's called Failand but I cannot unsee "Fail Land". Come here for the hill and to take pictures for instagram haha

Clifton Suspension Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

You can’t help but to be in awe of this beautiful structure. Bike lanes filter you around the sides of the toll barriers but keep an eye on cars going through as you rejoin the road.

St Bartholomew's Church plus views across to Portishead, Avonmout, River Severn & Wales. Great as the sun is setting.

Failand Lane

Highlight • Cycleway

A quieter way up the Portbury climb but much muckier. clearable on a road bike to Failand but bad road condition, muddy and wet. Great!

Lovely spot on the Causway between Tickenham & Nailsea, with views over Tickenham Boundary Rhyne towards Clevedon.
