My 2nd tour on the afternoon of March 1st, 2025 took me near Niesky, in Upper Lusatia.

There I circled the Quitzdorf dam, which was built between 1965 and 1972 as a cooling water reservoir for the Boxberg lignite power plant.

This dam is fed by the Schwarzen Schöps, into which it also flows when necessary.
