Today we were supposed to do the tour to Monte Bar. Unfortunately, the weather forecast had steadily worsened. Showers and thunderstorms were forecast for the region until well into the afternoon. Beautiful circuit: ascent on the sunny side of the Göschenen valley, descent via MTB route 408 over trails and forest paths. Impressive view of the Dammastock glacier! From Göschenen we took the Matterhorn-Gotthard railway back to Andermatt, a great end to our Swiss vacation!
