The Danube Cycle Path is closed from June 8, 2021 until further notice after a rockslide on the south bank between Haibach ob der Donau (Kobling district) and Aschach an der Donau (Kaiserau district).
You can bypass the closure as follows:
In Kobling you can switch to the north side with the Kobling-Obermühl ferry. From Obermühl you then cycle to Untermühl and from here the Kaiserau-Untermühl ferry takes you back to the south bank.
Ferry times:
Kobling-Obermühl ferry: June to August: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., September: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Kaiserau-Untermühl ferry: May to September: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
