We look up at Teide at breakfast and see blue skies. So we head for Sombrero. It's 8 degrees at the car park, but the sun is shining, there's not a breath of wind and the sky is actually blue. The path to Sombrero is always beautiful and today we are alone on the climb. The view of the coast …

A very nice hike, with fantastic views of the coast of El Médano and also of Mount Teide.

At the beginning of the hike it was still cold, but after 10 or 15 minutes it was very pleasant and we were able to enjoy the sun mostly at 2,200 to 2,400 m altitude...
