Font de Ca l'Artiguetes

Highlight • Natural Monument

The source of Ca l'Artiguetes is located between the path and the torrent of the Valley. The old fountain was destroyed during works in the area. In an attempt to recover the fountain, the space was fixed with cement and stone blocks, to form a small pond where water is stored, although there is no fountain. The date "15-11-07" has been engraved on one side. Wooden cross stairs were also placed to allow you to descend from the path.

It was refurbished in 2007.

This passage to cross the Riera de Tenes is formed by a group of large stones arranged with a separation between them to facilitate the passage of water.

It can be crossed easily on foot, and by bicycle you have to get off and go carefully through the separation between the stones.

Can Magre Ford

Highlight • River

We are at the end of the first section of the river path, which runs from the Ca l'Uño bridge to the Can Magre ford.

In this place, there is a very good representation of the riparian forest, with a great diversity of species such as cattail, boga, salicarias, reeds, pendants and alder. Also in the water there are cladophorous algae and duckweed. Both one and the other in case of eutrophication of the water in the summer, they are present in large quantities. The chickadees we see in this corner are mostly native. We even find one of considerable size, surrounded by a meadow of évol.

Font de la Figuereta

Highlight • River

Fountain located right next to the bed of the Riera de Tenes, which is accessed through a small path with a difference in level, from another parallel path highly recommended for walking or cycling.

The environment that surrounds this fountain is very pleasant to spend a moment of calm and relaxation, thanks to the existing vegetation and thanks to the fact that the water of the stream flows at this point over an immense rock formation that has been eroding, forming a beautiful riverbed and a small waterfall that give the place a very particular charm worth seeing.

La Garriga Greenway

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

La Garriga has two cycle paths and numerous paths to explore both cycle paths and numerous paths to explore by bicycle.

The exit from Plaza del Silencio passes through the Paseo where you can see summer heritage. Next, you advance through the Narcisa Freixas square until you reach Can Terreros where you can see the archaeological remains of Can Terreros. Continue over the bridge on Bages Street and Ramon Ciurans Street. Finally. It connects with the river path in Llerona, Rosanes and La Almendra, in a route of 3.9km. This route can be done up to 35km to reach Besós beach in a gradient of just under 100 meters.

You descend comfortably parallel to the river, scanning the river, which is on the right, and crop fields on the left. As you go down, you reach a landscape that becomes more urban and industrial. The path has no discontinuity.

Between Montmeló and Mollet de Vallès the Congost joins the Mogent river that flows down from the east to form the Besós river. We will cross it to go to its left bank.

From this point you have to go down about 70 meters of unevenness until you reach the Besós Fluvial Park until you reach Sant Adrià beach.
