The bike path leads for the most part directly along the river Neisse, away from traffic. The places along the way are usually a bit "sleepy" and lovingly maintained.

(Once again) a great section on the Oder-Neisse cycle path (D12) with a great surface, close to the river and quiet and without cars. A pleasure! 👍

Today's stage runs along a fantastically well-maintained cycle path. The climbs and headwinds are truly enjoyable. It's a beautiful tour through stunning scenery and fascinating locations.

Very good bike paths on the tour. Not many climbs, just a brief 10% gradient. In Bad Muskau, it's very nice to cycle through the beautiful park and admire the beautifully reconstructed castle.
If you're hungry and interested, you can take a short detour over the Neisse Bridge to the Polish Market.
Until Forst, there's not much new to discover, …

A fantastic tour with a great view of the Neisse. Almost the entire route is super smooth asphalt and runs away from cars. There were a few places to stop for refreshments and for a Sunday with great weather there was not much going on. I can only recommend the tour!

Today we set off on the second leg. Finally, the weather was nice, even though it was chilly and very windy. But with the e-bike, it wasn't a problem. It was the most beautiful tour so far. Prince Pückler Park was especially beautiful. But the last stretch along the Neisse River was also fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Completely different in character to the first stage: a lot of it through pine forests and along the edges of forests and fields. Towards the end of the tour, after crossing under the A15, the cycle path leads almost exclusively along a flood embankment, which can be a sweaty affair at over 30°C and with a headwind.

A stunningly beautiful route, and luckily the longer section led through a wonderfully cool forest. The last few kilometers along the dike and in the sun were truly challenging. Having enough water was paramount.

Before I bite the handlebars
I prefer to drive on the Neisse.

The elevation gain according to Komoot is incorrect. The speedometer says 180m and I think that's more accurate. There were hardly any climbs today.
