Glacial Erratic Natural Monument in Wołomin

circumference 650 cm, height 215 cm, width 120 cm, age approx. 1.83 billion years. It reached the area of Wołomin during the Warta glaciation - about 140 thousand. years ago. The boulder is a coarse-crystalline granite with a porphyry structure, consisting of a large number of red alkaline feldspars clearly ailing on the surface of the boulder. They are accompanied by gray or milky quartz, blue crystals and numerous dark minerals with dominant biotite.
