What a stage. The valley of the Nera accompanied me to Marmore today.
The surrounding towns such as Ferentillo, Arrone and especially Montefranco were built on hills and already look breathtaking from below. The mountains are also very impressive.
The highlight was of course the marble waterfalls - a drainage system developed by the Romans for the hinterland …
