Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

Located at 2770 meters above sea level, the Col d'Iseran is the highest European asphalt pass. There are magnificent views of Val-d'Isère and the Maurienne. Egan Bernal won his Tour de France 2019 with tremendous action at this summit.

A short Iseran pass to get your blood pumping 😊. Always a pleasant, steady pass with varied and spectacular scenery. A slight 6 degrees at the top, with wind, invigorating.

How cold at the top! But the ascent and descent surrounded by walls of snow were spectacular.

But bad surprise at the level of the first laces above the Pont Saint Charles: firefighters, police, helicopter... For a cyclist who missed a bend and had a very big fall. It shakes a little.

Showing Translation

Left to simply turn the legs, but that was without taking into account the terrible headwind in the ascent of Iseran then Tignes. Tailwind downhill, it spins, uphill face, it wears out!!

Showing Translation

Early start and very fresh but the views were incredible.
..get some Cols in! This morning at Col de l'Iseran was just perfect
