Roslin Glen Country Park

Highlight • Historical Site

Rosling Glen Country Park is a beautiful wooded park not far from Roslin. There are a number of things to see in and near the park, including Rosslyn Chapel, Rosslyn Castle, Wallace’s Cave, and Hawthornden Castle. Passing through these ancient woodlands is the River North Esk. Roslin Glen Country Park also appeared in the popular TV series ‘Outlander.’

Roslin Castle

Highlight • Historical Site

The partially ruined 14th century castle holds a great position in the Roslin Glen. The high bridge used to access the castle would have been strong defence and was rebuilt to update the fortification in 1544. In 1980 the ruins where partially restored and you can now stay in the holiday accommodation in part of the castle.
