Holloway Trail

Highlight • Trail

A really nice Holloway that gets a bit technical half way down. Not one for bombing down unless you are really confident (or mental). Take extra care if its raining or rained a lot

The Daneway Pub & Campsite

Highlight • Rest Area

The Daneway is a hiker-friendly establishment complete with a campsite. The campsite’s facilities include washrooms, showers and toilets and is open all year round.

As well as traditional pub fare and a lovely beer garden, there's also the Muddy Boots Cafe, which serves a range of baguettes and sandwiches, sausage rolls and fresh coffee.

Limekiln Lane

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

A beautiful lane undulating between Bisley and the Daneway Pub near Sapperton. A little rough in place, but not too bad and worth it for the beautiful scenery.

Elcombe Climb

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

A beautiful route through quieter parts of the the Slad Valley. Magnificent views! I descended from Bisley Road, but I'm definitely going back for the climb, which looks awesome and long!

Edit: I've done the climb now and it was much harder than I thought it would be and much steeper than Komoot suggests. It's over 20% in a couple of spots, especially steep going around the sharp corners nearer the top. It's also a bit rough and loose in a few places and sometimes you need to pick your line. A very good challenge though.
