And yet a beach holiday in Binz is much more than just enjoying the Baltic Sea with a view of the chalk cliffs.

Schmachten Lake

Highlight • Lake

The Schmachter See in the hinterland of Binz is perfectly connected to Binz via cycle paths and unfolds its greatest magic before sunset. Just a few minutes from the Baltic Sea beach, you shouldn't miss the detour here.

Binz–Serams Cycle Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Great bike path if you want to go from Seedorf to Binz and don't want to take the alternative route via the Granitz hunting lodge (slope!).
Also scenic with beautiful views to drive well.

A sunny tour to the treetop path, and then we went to Bergen.

Great area. However, I felt like I spent too much time on busy country roads without any bike paths.

Great round trip. Only the section from Partow via Zirkow on the B199 was not without danger because of all the traffic.

The way to Binz - an adventure. The sandy path turned into a field path which ended at the pasture fence. No passing or driving around possible 😟🚴🤔
