Isar Cycle Path in Freising

Highlight • Cycleway

The easiest way is to continue cycling to Moosburg on the river. It is more varied, however, to include the starting from Freising tertiary hill country with the villages and wide views of the Isar cycle path.

The Isar cycle path is a dream

The plan was LA - Starnberg. But as I was a bit exhausted, couldn't get going and a storm was approaching, I stopped in Munich. Otherwise I would have cycled the last 25km in the rain and thunderstorm. It was OK, but Munich is a real disaster for a bike.

After a 2.5-hour return trip and a nap, it was back to the "bike race."

On the factory canal embankment, there was hardly a trace, but plenty of pure 🦢 🦢

After Munich, the cycle path initially runs along the right bank, then after about 10 km changes to the left. Nothing interrupts your journey. No through roads, no …
