The route there and back went through the Wuhlheide. A secret path led into the grounds of the Mellowpark - but unfortunately not out again. Instead, the loud alarm of a motion detector forced us to retreat. The views of the Spree are beautiful, and later from the Köpenick Castle Island of the Dahme.
