Today things got interesting, and we headed off the beaten track, heading over high-altitude trails to Morter in the side valley and up 1,600 meters in one go to the Schartlkamm ridge. I've always wanted to do that; I've heard bad things about carrying 300 meters of altitude and via ferrata and so on...
