The bullosa lake, in French lac des Bouillouses, is a 149-hectare lake located in the highest part of the Capcir, at 2,016 m altitude. It is located at the foot of the Carlit and the Peric, and is surrounded by a set of ponds, among them, the Carlit ponds. It represents a natural site of great interest. It is also part of the Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees, which encompasses the northern Catalan Pyrenees.

In the summer, due to the large influx of tourists, access is restricted in July to a bus that connects the car park below with the dam above.
