Bridge is nice, from side of the river, nothing special to be on the bridge as it’s narrow but check out coffee shop next to it and the cycle path

Magna Carta Memorial, Runnymede

Highlight • Monument

Runnymede is noted for being the site of the sealing of one of the most famous documents in history. There is a memorial just across the field to this event back on the 15th June 1215, when King John, confronted by 40 rebellious barons, appended his seal to this famous parchment. You can wheel your bike across the field to have a look if need be. If not, there are other memorials to liberty dotted hereabouts too, most notably to JFK, and the allied air forces of the second world war.

Windsor Castle

Highlight • Viewpoint

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world - it's home to The King and over 900 years of royal history.
Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs.

The Castle itself is at the top of a steep hill, but it's visible from the road so you can get a sneaky peak as you roll past on the bike!
