Old Deeside Railway Line

Highlight • Cycleway

The Old Deeside Railway Line is a magnificent 41-mile stretch of traffic-free walking or cycling, beginning in Duthie Peak, Aberdeen.

The path is a former railway line that carried passengers and goods between Aberdeen and Ballater. These days, it's a fantastic way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a long walk in nature.

Duthie Park

Highlight • Rest Area

The park is a great place for a run, both as a destination or as a training ground. There are several paths here and you can spend your entire run here. Also the Deeside railway line ends here, and it is just by the river, allowing it to be used as a destination when running along either of these other routes.
