Lovely views over Plymouth Sound close to The Citadel and a few yards away from Elphinstone car park this is a great place to start a waterfront walk passing The Hoe and Smeatons Tower. The route can be extended through Millbay and Stonehouse to the Royal William Yard and the local ferries or on through Mount Wise to Devonport and Torpoint ferry. Plenty to see on the way.

Sutton Harbour Marina

Plymouth's Sutton Harbour Marina is home to around 420 boats of different shapes and sizes. The Marina is one of the UK's best sailing destinations. It is also a pleasant place to stroll around and enjoy one of the restaurants, cafes, and bars. If you visit in July, you might be lucky enough to see the Sutton Harbour Classic Boat Rally.
