Coastal Path Along the Kent Estuary

The Kent estuary opens up into Morecambe Bay and the last part of the river runs through sand banks that are often covered in wading birds.

One of the Cumbrian coast's few rocky shores, Arnside Point watches out over the Kent Estuary and Grange-over-Sands. In the warmer months, it is a good place to spot lizards sunning themselves on the rocks. As the seasons change, so to do the birds that visit the estuary.
