Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This section of the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail leads from the town of Brecksville to the Jaite Mill Historic District. It is part of the Buckeye Trail, which is a popular hiking trail in the area as well and follows the Cuyahoga River.

This path is literally called the Bike & Hike Trail. It's primarily paved and pretty wide the entire time. The path is separated into two sections. The northern section is the most popular 10 miles of trail, while the southern 20 miles create a loop through the use of paved path and city streets.
