Lämmerfelsen Rock Formations

Highlight • Natural Monument

The path is part of the Dahner Rundwanderweg and the Dahner Felsenpfad. It is the connection via the Lämmerteich to the ascent to the Lammerfelsen.

Bride and Groom Rock Formations

Highlight • Natural Monument

One of the landmarks of Dahn. It is arguably the easiest rock massif to reach as it towers right off the road and can even be photographed from the road. Climbers are often seen on the south side.

I don't have the words to describe this fantastic hiking experience.

Drive to Dahn yourself, preferably not on a Sunday or public holiday, because then it will be very busy.

I'm happy for the region and now I know why tourism is booming here. Simply great, not just the paths, the landscape, but also the gastronomy😋

Short tour with beautiful rocks and ladder to Büttelfels.

Only a short hike today in this heat. It's a classic circuit in the Dahner Felsenland. That meant more time for wellness 🙂

And once again, in perfect weather, we tackled the second part of the Dahner Felsenpfad trail.

The Palatinate is always worth a visit ;-)

Today after our arrival, a first small round in the Dahner Felsenland

Showing Translation

Fantastic round past the Lammerfelsen, Büttelfels, bride/groom and Wachtfels. Lots of highlights on a short route for the big ones and endless roots, stones and rocky niches for the little ones. Great!

Yes, it was a nice tour as always, I just didn't know that Martini was in Dahn today. Passage through Dahn was closed. Then I had to take a small detour via Erfweiler. But it was worth it. On the way back, as always, to Cafe Zürn in Hinterweidenthal, have the best wrinkle cream far and wide. And good coffee.

A beautiful tour with great rocks and small paths.
