Blink and you’ll miss it. Look left for the small track down onto Batley lane just before the Bridge. Also here you can cross across onto Rowthorne trail. This would avoid the road and cut some mileage off your trip if your going through to Hardwick

Link Track – Teversal Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The Teversal Trail is part of a network of multi-use trails in Nottinghamshire that caters to cyclists, walkers, and horse riders. It is based around the village of Teversal and uses old railway lines from the area's mining heritage.

Teversal Trail

Highlight • Trail

A former Great Northern Railway line from the late 1800s, the Teversal Trail is now a network of superb gravel tracks that run for miles and link up much of North Notts with the old colliery railway stations. Expect abandoned platforms on the edge of the trail and impressive railway bridges that keep you away from the traffic below. The railways here were mainly used for transporting coal and goods and while coal pits have existed here since the 1600s it wasn't until the railways arrived in the mid-late 1800s that the industry really got serious. Passenger transport died off a few decades into the 1900s.
