I liked the section north of Neumarkt, towards Nuremberg, much better.
The southern section is paved in places, goes past a busy road or sometimes leaves the channel.
In terms of rain, I was caught between the fronts today. The showers visibly descended around me. I stayed completely dry 😅 - you can be lucky sometimes 😊
