Still (The Mirror Man) Sculpture, Loch Earn

Highlight • Lake

Created by renowned Scottish sculptor and environmental artist, Rob Mulholland, 'Still' depicts a human figure gazing out across Loch Earn. It captures the sense of awe to be found in nature, and our struggle to interact with the natural world. The sculpture, a much-loved feature and part of a local sculpture trail, was removed by the new owners when the surrounding estate was sold in 2017. After a public campaign it was reinstated in 2022.

Loch Earn at St Fillans

Highlight • Viewpoint

St Fillans occupies the eastern end of beautiful Loch Earn and provides gorgeous views across the water to the hills beyond. From here, you can cycle along a lovely disused railway east to Comrie or west along the loch shore to Lochearnhead. These paths are best explored on a gravel bike or MTB.

Loch Earn Railway Path

Highlight • Cycleway

Parts are still under development on the north shore of Loch Earn, so occasionally the bike may have to be dismounted, but worth the effort. From St Fillans to Dalchonzie it's a brilliant path. There's a lovely cafe at St Fillans for a stop.

Chambered cairn to the east of Loch Earn, just off the A85.
