Tompkins Park is pretty and well-maintained. You have beautiful views of the Swan River from the lawn, sports fields, and picnic areas, and you can grab a bite to eat at the cantina. There is a restroom at the north side of the park along the coastal multi-use trail.

Applecross Jetty

This small jetty has a long history, having been originally built in 1897 as a ferry on the Swan River. These days the narrow pier is used for walking, fishing, bird watching, and photography as is sits near the confluence of the Swan & Canning Rivers and has excellent views over the water.
