The Nesvåghålo is not created by the tides, but by a glacial mill. Flowing water beneath a glacier causes a rock to rotate, eroding softer rock like a millstone.

The Nesvåghålo can only be accessed in good weather with little swell, and some climbing is required. But the walk there is well worth it.

The cave of Nesvåghålo is a so-called glacier mill. Unfortunately, it is only accessible at low tide and when the sea is calm. We stopped 10 m before it. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic tour. The hiking trail has been completely re-marked and is not shown on Komoot.
