Elbe River ferry crossing

The ferry across the Elbe River is only in operation in the summer season, usually from May to the end of September. It connects Lovosice (from the castle near the sports hall) with the village of Píšťany. The ferry is right on the Elbe cycle path, a short distance from where the Modla river flows into the Elbe. On the Lovosice shore, there is an outdoor Lovosice swimming pool, a swimming hall, a winter stadium, a sports hall, an athletics stadium, a boatyard, a yacht club, a wharf for seasonal shipping and all of this in close proximity to the "Osmička" forest park, which offers in addition to in-line and jogging tracks as well as playgrounds, fitness and workout grounds, a bug patch, and there is also the possibility of refreshments and seating.
