The Roques de Garcia are easily accessible by car and part of the way can even be used with wheelchairs and prams. The rocks are very impressive and definitely worth a stop. Don't miss out when you're out there.

The Roque Cinchado, also known as the "finger of God", is considered by some to be the symbol of the Cañadas. It is certainly the most spectacular and popular highlight among the Roques de García.

What a spectacular hike! From the Mirador de la Ruleta we choose the path to the right along the Roques de García and past the Roque Cinchado. After just a few meters, the flow of tourists slows down. The path continues uphill and to the Roques Blancos. From a small viewing plateau you can see the Llano de Ucanca plain …

The Roques de Garcia in the heart of the Canadas at the foot of the Teide are the most important national monument on the islands. The Roque Cinchado, the so-called Finger of God, in particular, also attracts many tourists. Unfortunately, we are a bit unlucky and cannot do the entire circuit. In October, mouflon hunting takes place here, so the …

Due to mouflon management half of the route was closed and it became a round trip. Very busy.

The weather couldn't have been better, so we went back to Teide National Park today. We could already see the caldera and the rock formation "La Catédral" from the "Mirador" viewpoint. Therefore, we skipped the more strenuous second part of the trail (especially at 2100 meters altitude). This was a particularly beautiful corner of the park.

Showing Translation

Unfortunately, we were only able to do half of the tour because the path and all other paths in the national park were closed due to mouflon hunting.
You don't need to say much about it: large, impressive rock formations, a tourist attraction, many many visitors!

Short walk after visiting the Teide summit. Unfortunately, the complete circuit was not possible today because of the mouflon hunt.
