The Elberadwanderweg leads directly along the Elbe. The alternation between low and high tide is interesting. The ships are impressive.

Old town of Stade

Highlight • Historical Site

The Hanseatic city of Stade is really a gem and definitely worth a visit. The city's history goes back 1,000 years and in the old town you will find many well-preserved half-timbered houses as well as houses and art from the Baroque. Two churches and the charming old harbor complete the experience. You shouldn't miss the fish market either.

Flethmühle. The former grain mill, built in the 19th century, was converted into a residential and commercial building in 1979. There is a hotel there today.

From Moorburg you can cycle very nicely on the dike into the old country. In late summer you can see thousands of apple trees with ripe fruit.

After many hikes - got the bike out again - in summery weather along the Elbe / the Altes Land - 66 km - everything green - full of apple blossoms - it was fun - but I'm exhausted 😂
And there were more people out and about - than you can see in the pictures 😉

Hey,
a beautiful bike ride today 🚴🚴 highly recommended 👍. Some of it was already familiar to us, but what we discovered today was truly perfect 😉. Lots of nature, older houses, and many beautiful bike paths, except for one stretch that runs a little longer along the road. But hey, whatever, the bike path was perfectly smooth, the new …

Today it was a bike tour combined with the 9€ ticket. I took the S-Bahn to Stade and from there via Twielenfleth and Jork back to Buxtehude. Bright blue skies but almost always headwind. Do any of you know why the headwind is always particularly strong in the last few kilometers? 🙄😀

Hi,
best Pentecost weather 🌞😊. Did a great round 😃 similar to yesterday with a few new routes.

The church in Buxtehude was open. Wonderfully beautiful inside 😊. I was lucky there. Confirmation 😀.

Best regards, Conny 👋

Here a short climb, there a little hill.

Fantastic weather, pleasant light wind and beautiful motifs: Elbe, Finkenwerder, Airbus, Elbe banks and parks, Süderelbe and old Elbe dyke with beautiful buildings, wide view over the orchards to the port...
Goal: once around Finkenwerder. I can only recommend.
I drove the whole tour with only 1 battery in ECO. At the finish I still had 10 km remaining range. …
